LindaWith my dad and brothers being so athletic, it was easy to get involved in something.  I’ve tried to be active all my life participating and competing in running, dirt biking, skiing, taekwondo and submission wrestling.

I was lucky to see Crossfit  San Jose start up in the gym where I worked and trained.  The classes were early in the morning (yuck) but looked so different from anything else I’d seen that I had to try it. The regular workouts were getting a little boring and CrossFit was something so different and something I could get into and stick with.

Exercise is a lifestyle that everyone should fit in to their schedule. Variety keeps people working out and coming back.  It doesn’t matter if what level of fitness you are, just do something!

Certifications and athletic accomplishments

  • Black belt in taekwondo
  • Level 1 CrossFit certification
  • Kettlebell certification (through Crossfit)
  • Olympic Lifting certification  (through CrossFit)
  • Personal trainer through ISSA
  • CPR certified
  • I am also certified in: Senior Fitness, Fitness for kids, Fitness during and after pregnancy and kinesiology as continuing education for personal training.
